I received the opportunity to meet tomorrow's entrepreneurs when I participated as a speaker at B.A.N.G to inspire young people to entrepreneurship through sharing my journey and insights.

For me it's especially important to take these opportunities to show other girls that these spaces, careers, industries are for women too. Because for me, as a girl entering the tech world - and now as a woman in male-dominated fields such as tech, entrepreneurship, and finance - I didn’t see many other women around me growing up and I still(!) don't see many other women in these spaces.

We have to change this, and what I can do is to start with myself - make sure I am present in these spaces. To show for young girls and women that they belong too. We are just as important and more than capable.
